Class Descriptions
- Yoga Therapy (Semi-Private): Release physical, mental and emotional stress using an eclectic mix of integrative and therapeutic body-mind practices. Explore personal modifications to respect and integrate mind, body, spirit, and breath–all within a playful, safe environment. Befriend, tend and mend your aging, injured or vulnerable body by re-creating a trusting relationship as you journey towards better health and wellness. Emphasis is on spinal flexibility, joint mobility, self-awareness, acceptance and age-related stress.
- Gentle Flow (Semi-Private): Link postures with breath, build strength and stability, improve balance and increase flexibility while honoring the mind, body, spirit connection. Promote restoration, healing, and relaxation. Explore a different theme and receive sprinkles of spiritual wisdom in each class. Enjoy the energy of a class while truly honoring your own abilities and limitations. All levels welcome.
- Yoga Therapy (Private): Tailored to meet your unique needs. This is a great way to enhance your yoga practice, take it at your pace and learn how your body works. Whether you are a new or seasoned yogi, the one-to-one attention will take your practice to the next level as you learn to adapt your practice to fit your body and reach your personal goals.
- Posture Clinic (Private): This class is designed for students of all levels who have questions about specific alignment, safety and modifications when practicing postures and breathing techniques.
- Senior Stretch (Semi-Private): With support of a chair, enjoy a gentle synthesis of adaptive physical postures, breathing techniques and self-reflection to awaken an optimal capacity for living well. Primary focus will be spinal flexibility and joint mobility, enabling the body to move safely and freely.
